" Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring " (o semplicemente " Joy ") è il titolo inglese più comune di un brano musicale derivato da un'ambientazione corale della cantata Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben , BWV 147 ("Heart and Mouth and Deed and Life "), composta da Johann Sebastian Bach nel 1723. La stessa musica su diverse strofe di un corale chiude entrambe le parti della cantata.

"Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" (or simply "Joy") is the most common English title of a piece of music derived from a choral setting of the cantata Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben, BWV 147 ("Heart and Mouth and Deed and Life "), composed by Johann Sebastian Bach in 1723. The same music on different stanzas of a choir closes both parts of the cantata.
